About Us

Palm Frites is the brainchild of Bobbie and Nick Banda, both retired Air Force with a combined 51 years of service. Bobbie Banda is a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) trained chef, while Nick earned his cooking chops in his mother’s South Texas kitchen.

We have lived and dined around the world (see map below), and enjoyed every morsel of it! While stationed in Belgium, we fell in love with their crispy, twice-fried frites. Since we adore street food of all sorts, we brought the frites back to Texas, made them super portable and paired them with delicious toppings inspired by our journeys. We hope you love eating the food as much as we’ve loved making it!

 

Menu

Our menu varies daily, but below are some of our favorites!

Fried Cheese Curds
House-made curds, Panko breaded & fried, served with Bobbie’s Bad A$$ salsa.

“Holla” Baco Bites
Breaded, bacon wrapped fried jalapeño bites stuffed with cilantro-lime cream cheese. With sweet & sour sauce.

Routine Poutine
Fries topped with house-made cheese curds smothered in beef gravy.

Red Hot Chili Papas
New Mexico red chili sauce, house-made sausage & pinto beans.  Topped with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños over fries.

Chicken Karaage (kah rah ah geh):
Panko breaded, marinated chicken breast, served with Sriracha mayo, Asian coleslaw, pickled red onion and roasted seaweed.

The Texican
Fries topped with spiced ground beef, pinto beans, lettuce, diced tomatoes, queso fresco and jalapeños. Served with Bobbie’s Bad A$$ Salsa!

The Geilenkirchen
Bite size pork sirloin covered in brown gravy, served with pickled red cabbage and pickled red onions over fries.

Le Cordon Bleu
Panko breaded, marinated chicken breast, house made Canadian bacon, covered with parmesan-provolone and Dijon mustard cheese sauce.

Fries Margarite
Italian style Margharite sauce over fries and covered with a provolone cheese sauce.

St Louie Sammich
Hickory smoked pulled pork or chicken w/house made BBQ sauce, pickled red cabbage, pickled red onions and dill pickle.

The Albuquerque
Shredded chicken topped with Hatch green chili enchilada sauce and shred- ded cheddar cheese.

Philly Cheese Steak Fries
Thinly sliced Angus beef loin, topped with sautéed peppers, caramelized onions and mushrooms, with a parmesan-provolone cheese sauce, over fries.
